Welcome to the online home of Christine Albert - singer, songwriter, and nonprofit founder - from Austin, Texas.

On August 24, 2025, Christine lost her husband/musical partner/business partner and soulmate, Chris Gage, to cancer after a 29-year relationship and creative partnership. Together they formed Albert and Gage, recorded 10 albums - as a duo and co-produced solo efforts - established MoonHouse Records and MoonHouse Studio, built Swan Songs Musical Last Wishes, the nonprofit founded by Christine in 2005, performed in 14 countries, merged their families, kids, and grandkids, and co-parented a chihuahua, a chiweenie, and a tabby cat.

As Christine reimagines her professional and personal life, this website will grow and evolve. Follow the links in the paragraph above to learn more about her significant accomplishments in the previous three decades.

Every Monday night Christine and her band play the iconic Austin venue, Donn’s Depot, on The Chris Gage Stage, continuing the residency started by Chris Gage in 1995. Her band includes John Carroll (guitar), Mark Epstein (bass), and Kevin Hall (drums), with surprise guests showing up regularly!
